International Round Table “The Role of Education in Human Life” Held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

On December 13, 2025, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an international round table entitled “The Role of Education in Human Life.”

The event was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Tilepbergen Raspekovich Ryspekov, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre.

The main objective of the round table was to discuss the impact of education on professional development and personal growth, exchange scientific views and best international practices, and strengthen academic and professional cooperation.

The round table brought together leading scholars, educators, and practitioners from Kazakhstan and abroad, including participants from the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic and other countries. The event was held in a hybrid format, combining both offline and online participation.

During the discussions, participants addressed current trends in education, challenges in training highly qualified specialists, and prospects for the development of science in the fields of geography, land management, cadastre, soil science, and agriculture.

The event contributed to strengthening international academic cooperation and fostering scientific dialogue.
