An open seminar “Finance” educational program on the topic “Independent Kazakhstan and the Tax System: The Foundation of Entrepreneurial Development”

On December 10, 2025, an open seminar was held for 3rd-year students of the “Finance” educational program on the topic “Independent Kazakhstan and the Tax System: The Foundation of Entrepreneurial Development.”

The seminar was conducted by Senior Lecturer A.S. Kyzdarbekova together with the students of the “Finance” group. The session covered key aspects of Kazakhstan's tax system, its evolution during the years of independence, and the impact of tax policy on the development and growth of entrepreneurship.

The open format of the seminar contributed to the development of students’ analytical thinking, strengthened their professional competencies, and deepened their understanding of the tax system’s role in the country’s economic development.

The lesson corresponds to the directions of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 4 "Quality education", SDG 8 "Decent work and economic growth" and SDG 16 "Peace, justice and effective institutions", as it is aimed at shaping economic thinking, understanding the role of the tax system and strengthening institutional culture in finance.
