Meeting within the framework of SDG 7 “Affordable and Clean Energy”
On November 19, 2025, at 14:00, the first- doctoral students of the “Russian Language and Literature” major Gauhar Sabirova and Aru Isak, held a meeting with the first-year students of the “Kazakh Language and Literature” major. The meeting topic was “SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy.”
The event was conducted under the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Senior Lecturer Akhmet Akbope Nurkadyrkyzy.
The purpose of the event was to raise students’ awareness of the importance of Sustainable Development Goal No. 7, aimed at ensuring widespread access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy.
During the meeting, the doctoral students presented information about the UN Sustainable Development Goals system, the key tasks of SDG 7, modern types of clean and renewable energy, as well as examples of the implementation of environmentally sustainable technologies in Kazakhstan and around the world. As part of the interactive segment, students participated in a discussion of current energy issues and possible solutions, demonstrating a high level of interest.
Based on the results of the event, an increase in students’ awareness was noted, along with a strengthened interest in environmental and sustainable development issues, as well as the formation of an understanding of personal responsibility in the context of energy conservation. The meeting was successful and received positive feedback from the students.
