Digital analysis of the economy will be a priority

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al‑Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a working meeting with a delegation of Henan University of Finance and Economics.

In his welcoming speech, the Rector of KazNU noted the high dynamics of mutually beneficial partnership with Chinese universities. He also suggested considering the prospect of creating a joint Kazakh‑Chinese scientific and educational center for advanced technologies on the basis of KazNU with the participation of China's industrial partners. At the same time, the rector outlined priority areas of cooperation: digital technologies, robotics, AI, aerospace and nuclear technologies.

Wang Xueyun, Rector of Henan University of Finance and Economics, described Henan Finance University as a university focused on training personnel for the financial and economic sphere, with a strong staff base and a wide student body. He noted that the university is actively developing interdisciplinary programs "finance + technology" and "finance +education". The Guest of honor also expressed interest in expanding bilateral exchange programs, joint research and practical applied projects.

During the meeting, the parties agreed on further steps to deepen academic cooperation: the preparation of memoranda of cooperation, the development of dual degree programs and the launch of joint laboratories, including in the fields of digital technology and economic analysis. At the end of the official part, the delegation visited the university museum, after which a joint photo session took place.
