The Future of an Independent Nation!

On October 22, 2025, the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies held an intellectual game titled «The Future of an Independent Nation!» dedicated to Republic Day. The event was organized within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals No.4 «Quality Education» and No.16 «Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions».

The purpose of the event was to enhance students’ political literacy, develop analytical and logical thinking skills, and promote a new understanding of the historical and spiritual significance of the national holiday.

The game consisted of two stages: participants answered questions about the history of the country, key events on the path to independence, the branches of government, democratic principles, and the role of the media. In addition, creative and logical tasks related to modern politics, well-known companies, and cultural phenomena were presented. During the game, students went beyond factual knowledge, expressed their views on the country’s future, and discussed the importance of people’s power in a democratic society.

The participants’ activity and critical thinking clearly demonstrated their interest in the political development of Kazakhstan and their patriotic spirit.
