A career guidance meeting was held at the branch of KazNU in Omsk

A meeting dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of International Relations was held at the branch of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Omsk.

The event, held in the format of an open dialogue, brought together representatives of diplomatic departments, government agencies, the academic community and students.

Among the guests of honor at the meeting were: Kerim Kozhamberdiev, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Omsk, Elena Genova, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Omsk, Murat Zhangaziev, Director of the branch of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Omsk, Dmitry Lunev, Acting Head of the Omsk Customs, Colonel of the Customs Service.

Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kerim Kozhamberdiev spoke about the priorities of diplomatic work, the protection of citizens' rights abroad and the important role of cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the development of relations between the regions of Kazakhstan and Russia.

"Such meetings blur the line between theory and practice",- said Murat Zhangaziev, Director of the KazNU branch. – This is an invaluable experience and a powerful motivation for our students. Seeing how the ideas they study in the classroom are implemented by their senior colleagues in real work to strengthen friendship between Russia and Kazakhstan is the best learning material".

The key topic of the dialogue was practical cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as personnel training to strengthen bilateral relations. The students were able to communicate with representatives of the diplomatic service, the foreign Ministry and customs authorities.

The event highlighted the importance of direct interaction between experienced professionals and the younger generation, stimulating students' desire to serve their country and develop Kazakhstan's partnership with Russia.
