On December 10, 2025, a scientific seminar was held at the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The seminar was conducted by third-year PhD student Z. U. Iskakova and focused on the topic “Transformation of Chinese Culture under Globalization.” The event aimed to provide an academic analysis of the changes taking place in Chinese culture in the context of globalization.

During the seminar, participants discussed China’s growing influence on the global political and cultural arena, the synthesized model of cultural development following the “reform and opening-up” policy, and the coexistence of traditional culture alongside modernized cultural forms. The relevance of the topic was highlighted by the increasing interest of the academic community in these processes.

The seminar attracted considerable interest from students, who actively raised questions regarding the content, structure, and presentation of their research projects. As a result, participants received valuable academic and methodological guidance aimed at improving the quality of their independent research.
