The Impact of Social Media on Human Psychology

The Department of Archaeology, Ethnology and Museology organized an educational session for 1st-year students of the Ethnology/Anthropology and Cultural Anthropology program. The session, led by curator Nazira Abdinassir , focused on “The Impact of Social Media on Human Psychology.”

During the event, students discussed the influence of social networks on youth consciousness, the psychological effects of virtual communication, and the importance of media literacy and responsible digital behavior. The participants exchanged views on maintaining emotional well-being and developing healthy practices in the digital environment.

The main objective of the session was to enhance students’ awareness of safe and responsible media use, strengthen their psychological resilience, and promote critical thinking in the digital age.
