KazNU Master's Student Recognized as the Best Student in the CIS
Roza Atazhanovna Abdusattarova, a 2nd-year Master’s student specializing in "7M05102-Biomedicine" at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, has become a winner of international and national competitions, bringing honor to domestic science. Today, Roza’s diligent work and scientific endeavors have been recognized with the prestigious awards "BEST STUDENT OF THE CIS COUNTRIES" and "BEST STUDENT OF THE YEAR."
Roza Atazhanovna began her initial professional education at the Kh.A. Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University in the field of "Biology and Related Sciences." The profound foundational knowledge she received at this fundamental institution in Turkestan unlocked her potential as a future scientist and laid the groundwork for her confident steps in the field of biomedicine.
Currently, she is continuing her master's research at the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine, and Neuroscience at Al-Farabi KazNU, establishing herself as a representative of the new generation of domestic science.
A significant contribution to the scientific direction and achievements of the young scientist was made by her supervisor, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Professor Nurzhanyat Tatukhanovna Ablaikhanova. Under the guidance of this experienced scholar, Roza is conducting her dissertation research on the topic: "Study of the regulatory and adaptive capacities of the bodies of foreign students studying at a medical university." This research is highly relevant to the modern sphere of medical education.
The study examines: The psychophysiological state of students under high academic workloads; The body's resistance to stress factors; Mechanisms for maintaining homeostasis.
This work is aimed at identifying biomedical indicators for preserving the health of international medical students and physiologically optimizing the educational process.
On December 13, 2025, an international solemn award ceremony took place in the capital city, Astana, on the eve of Independence Day. Roza's first steps in science were highly commended by international experts, and she earned the following accolades: The special breastplate and certificate for "BEST STUDENT OF THE CIS" and "BEST STUDENT OF THE YEAR"; Symbolic statuettes for "BEST STUDENT OF THE CIS" and "BEST STUDENT OF THE YEAR"; A 1st Degree International Diploma; A Letter of Gratitude presented to her parents for their contribution to the upbringing and education of the young scientist, and a Diploma for her scientific supervisor.
