“Kazakh–Chinese Environmental Law” Forum – Promoting International Cooperation
On November 21, 2025, in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, a forum on the topic “Kazakh–Chinese Environmental Law” was held at Minzu University of China, one of the country’s leading higher education institutions. Acting Professor B. Kalymbek and Acting Associate Professor G.K. Rasheva from the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University participated in the event and delivered presentations.
During the forum, participants discussed the digital transformation of organic agricultural product markets between China and Kazakhstan, current issues in environmental law, as well as opportunities for expanding scientific cooperation between the two countries. The forum was held within the framework of one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals.”
