Listeners of the Pre-University Training Department took part in the presentation of the scientific work “The Land of Six Cities”

As part of the «40 Events» program dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Faculty of Pre-University Education, participation in the presentation of the scholarly work «The Land of Six Cities» was organized for the students of the Department of Pre-University Training. The event took place at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and provided the participants with an opportunity to gain deeper insight into domestic historical research.

During the presentation, attendees received information about the content, research features, and scientific significance of the work by the well-known writer and historian Ismailzhan Iminov. Approximately 15 speakers took part in the event, highlighting in their substantive presentations the book’s reliance on historical sources as well as its analysis of ethnographic and cultural-historical data.

The purpose of the event was to broaden the participants’ academic and cognitive horizons, develop historical awareness, form skills in working with and analyzing sources, and increase interest in the legacy of Shokan Ualikhanov. The event was organized at a high level and provided participants with profound historical knowledge and new impressions.
