Charity event at KSU "Center for Social Services "Shanyrak"

Under the supervision of Zh.K. Zhorabayeva, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Senior Lecturer of the “Finance and Accounting” Department at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, second-year students of Group 3 majoring in Finance organized a charitable event at the Shanyraq Social Services Center (KMM) within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, namely SDG 1 — “No Poverty,” SDG 3 — “Good Health and Well-Being,” and SDG 17 — “Partnerships for the Goals.”

The meeting, held on December 22, 2025, created a warm and festive atmosphere for the residents of the center. Students showcased their talents by performing traditional national melodies and heartfelt songs, bringing joy and positive emotions to the elderly. The smiles and sincere gratitude of the residents clearly reflected the significance of the event.

The main purpose of this charitable mission was to strengthen intergenerational continuity and to instill values such as kindness, compassion, and empathy in young people. The blessings and heartfelt wishes of the elders gave the students spiritual inspiration and encouraged them to continue engaging in such meaningful initiatives in the future.
