A meeting was held with representatives of public associations and Akimat of Almaty

As part of the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals, a meeting was held with representatives of public organizations and the Akimat of Almaty. The discussion focused on pressing environmental challenges in the metropolis and ways to address them through partnerships between the government, science, and civil society.  

Participants discussed the improvement of urban environmental policy, waste management, greening, environmental education, and increasing youth engagement in ecological initiatives.

Special attention was given to corporate social responsibility and the implementation of joint projects involving students.
