Informational and educational seminar on gender policy

On December 24, 2025, an informational and educational seminar on gender policy was held at the 3rd branch of the Shapagat Social Services Center (State Municipal Institution). The event was organized by the Department of Language and General Education Training for Foreign Students of the Faculty of Pre-University Education, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The seminar speaker was B.M. Aitbayeva, Head of the Department, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Almas Auelbekovich Bektanov, as well as faculty members of the department.

The main objective of the event was to explain the principles of gender equality, promote the importance of ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men in society, and enhance the legal and social awareness of the participants.

During the seminar, the key areas of gender policy, state-level programs, and issues related to gender roles in the family and society were discussed. Participants were provided with comprehensive information, and an open discussion on relevant issues was held.

The event was conducted in an interactive format and was marked by active participation. The seminar became an important platform for promoting gender culture and strengthening the principles of social justice.
