Meeting of the HSEB Faculty with a Representative of the “Parasat” Trade Union of Al-Farabi KazNU

On December 26, 2025, a meeting was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business between the faculty members of the Department of Finance and Accounting and a representative of the “Parasat” Trade Union of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Law (PhD) Ryskaliev D.U. The event was organized within the framework of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 8 — Decent Work and Economic Growth.

During the meeting, participants discussed current issues of social and labor relations, protection of employees’ rights and interests, as well as the role of the trade union in ensuring decent working conditions and supporting the professional development of university staff. Particular attention was paid to issues of social support for faculty members, occupational safety, motivation, and increasing employee engagement in academic and research activities.

The participants emphasized the importance of social partnership and open dialogue between the university administration, faculty members, and the trade union in the context of sustainable university development.

The meeting became a significant step toward strengthening cooperation between the faculty and the trade union organization, as well as promoting the values of decent work and sustainable economic development within the educational environment.
