On December 25, the Department of International Relations and World Economy organized an open discussion at the Almaty Community Centre on Sustainable Development Goal 17: "Partnership for Sustainable Development and the Role of Youth"

The keynote speaker was Gulzada Abdusagatovna Apsatarova, Deputy Head of the Department for Academic, Methodological, and Educational Work. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of SDG 17 as a key mechanism for achieving sustainable development through cooperation. G.A. Apsatarova focused on the role of youth, education, and partnership in strengthening peace and achieving the SDGs.

The discussion was interactive, with participants actively participating, expressing their opinions, and asking questions related to the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda and youth participation in achieving the SDGs.

The practical portion of the event featured an interactive "Question-Lottery" format. Participants answered questions related to SDG 17, reinforcing their acquired knowledge in an interactive and accessible format.
