Within the framework of SDG 4 – Quality Education, on November 17 the first-year Logistics students of the Kazakh National University, together with senior lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, PhD in Philology Kakisheva Nurzada Tursumbekovna, held a roundtable discussion dedicated to National Currency Day. The event brought together students and faculty members interested in studying modern financial processes, sustainable economic development, and the role of future specialists in strengthening the country’s financial stability.
Particular attention was given to the development of Kazakhstan’s financial system and the role of the national currency, the tenge, which serves as an important symbol of the nation’s economic sovereignty. Participants emphasized the importance of the stability of the tenge for sustainable growth, business development, and ensuring the financial security of the population. Historical stages in the formation of the national currency and its impact on shaping modern economic policy were also discussed.
Students prepared informative presentations on personal finance management, the functioning of the banking system, entrepreneurship, and modern analytical tools. The discussions were held in an active and constructive atmosphere, allowing students to exchange experiences and insights on current economic challenges.
