Innovative Biopreparations Presented at KazNU in Turkestan under SDG 2

Presentation of Biopreparations Held at KazNU in Turkestan under SDG 2 On December 25, 2025, representatives of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University – Mukhatayeva Karlygash Akparovna, Mamytova Nurgul Sabazbekovna, and Ultanbekova Gulnar Dauletbayevna – visited the city of Turkestan to conduct a presentation and consultations on innovative biopreparations that stimulate plant growth with a fungicidal effect. The event was organized at the State Communal Enterprise "Zhasyl Zhelek" and aimed at familiarizing the local population and enterprises with preparations that contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture. The action was carried out within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal SDG 2 - Zero Hunger.

The initiative was supported by the SCE "Zhasyl Zhelek" and the Department of Natural Resources of Turkestan Region, acting as partners. Within the program, the following activities were implemented:  Meeting with the management and staff of the nursery, presentation of the preparations, and the developers' contribution to science for SDG.  Consultations on application: seed treatment, dosage, integration into pest control measures.  Demonstration of practical examples and recommendations for testing, with an emphasis on increasing the adaptability of seedlings in arid climates by 20–30%. The event was attended by:  Employees of the SCE and local residents - 50 people, KazNU teachers - Mukhatayeva Karlygash Akparovna, Mamytova Nurgul Sabazbekovna, Ultanbekova Gulnar Dauletbayevna. The action contributed to the promotion of sustainable agriculture, reduction of import dependence, and ecological adaptation in the region. The university strengthened its partnerships and positions in international rankings.
