Familiarization with the scientific work of the Department

On September 19, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds, and Polymers A.K. Toktabaeva introduced students of the Kazakh branch, groups 403-404, of the educational program "6B07201 - Pharmaceutical Production Technology" to the department's research focus and provided a detailed account of current trends in polymeric materials and their application in pharmaceuticals and biomedicine. Particular attention was paid to the department's research projects related to the synthesis of biocompatible polymers, the development of polymer carriers for drugs, and the creation of biodegradable materials. Students also learned about prospects for participating in research grants, publications, and opportunities to continue their education in master's and doctoral programs. The event was organized as part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (44.3.4) in the field of quality education.
