SDG-4 On the eve of the New Year, on December 25, 2025, the final meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Journalism was held. Several important issues were discussed on the agenda. One of the key topics was the report on scientific research and innovation activities for the year 2025. The current state and quality of publications in the “KazNU Bulletin. Journalism Series” were also addressed.
In the “Miscellaneous” section, reports were presented on the business trips of Professor Laila Seysembekovna Akhmetova during 2025, as well as on Aigerim Bolatkhanovna Alzhanova’s participation in the ICCEES World Congress (International Council for Central and East European Studies), which took place from July 20 to 25, 2025, at University College London (London, United Kingdom).
At the end of the session, the 1st-year doctoral students presented their reports for the first semester. Based on the results of 2025, letters of appreciation were awarded to students and members of the teaching staff.
