Educational Visit to Akhmet Baitursynov Museum: Quality Education for Sustainable Development

On November 11, 2025, students from the Faculty of Physics and Technology visited the Akhmet Baitursynov Museum as part of the "History of Kazakhstan" course, in line with the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 – "Quality Education". The excursion to the museum of the renowned Kazakh scholar-educator, linguist, and prominent public figure became a significant element of their educational and cultural program. During the visit, students learned about the biography and scientific achievements of Akhmet Baitursynov, whose contribution to the formation of the Kazakh literary language and the development of national writing system is invaluable.

The museum visit contributed to broadening students' horizons and forming a comprehensive understanding of the development of science and education in Kazakhstan. Participants of the excursion noted the importance of preserving historical memory and cultural heritage for the sustainable development of modern society. The event emphasized the significance of quality education not only in the professional sphere but also in forming the general cultural competencies of future specialists. This initiative demonstrates how students of technical specialties actively participate in implementing global sustainable development goals through studying national cultural and educational heritage.
