«Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions»

From January 5 to 8, 2026, the Republican Subject Olympiad for school students in «Foundations of Law» and «History of Kazakhstan» was held in the city of Almaty. The event aimed to foster students’ interest in legal and historical studies, as well as to identify and support gifted learners.

Members of the jury included faculty representatives of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University: Doctor of Law, Professor S. Tynybekov; Candidate of Law S. Yermukhametova; R.Yerezhepkyzy; and Candidate of History L. Khasanaeva.

The jury assessed participants’ knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. The evaluation process was conducted in an atmosphere of openness and objectivity, with strict adherence to the principles of academic integrity.

The Olympiad aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16 –«Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions» which focuses on promoting legal culture and civic responsibility among young people.
