Held an open event entitled “The Spirit of Zheltoksan in the Hearts of Youth”

On December 1, 2025, at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, within the framework of SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”, students of the “Accounting and Audit” educational programme, under the guidance of academic advisor Zh.A. Askarova, held an open event entitled “The Spirit of Zheltoksan in the Hearts of Youth.”

During the event, students of the “Accounting and Audit” programme demonstrated a high level of preparation. The programme included theatrical performances, recitation of poetic works, and various intellectual competitions.

The Zheltoksan events represent a decisive historical milestone that left an indelible mark on the hearts of the Kazakh people and played a crucial role on the path to independence. The courageous Kazakh youth who took to the square in 1986 became a symbol of bravery, dignity, and the aspiration for freedom. Today’s generation must remember this heroic legacy, appreciate the value of independence, and feel a sense of responsibility for its preservation.
