The rector received the young scientist

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received senior lecturer, young scientist Aizhamal Bayseitova.

At the meeting, the scientist presented her scientific projects and informed about the results achieved. Aizhamal Bayseitova teaches at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, and also works at the Research Center for Medicinal Plants at KazNU. Currently, she is comprehensively studying the properties of the chicory plant and has found that it has an antidiabetic effect, lowers blood sugar levels and has a positive effect on the regulation of metabolism. In addition, it has been proven that the plant has antioxidant activity that counteracts free radicals that occur in the human body under the influence of stress.

During the meeting, Aizhamal Bayseitova said that she had received a patent for her scientific project and planned to bring it to the market in the form of a dietary supplement and medicinal tea in the future.

The head of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, highly appreciated the research of the young scientist, stressing that such scientific projects are of great importance for strengthening public health and the development of national science. He also noted that the university's management provides comprehensive support to young researchers and their scientific initiatives are always in the spotlight.
