Al-Farabi Kazakh National University – A Center of Education and Science

January 15 marks the anniversary of the founding of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In celebration of this significant date, a ceremonial event was held at the Faculty of Law with the participation of the academic staff.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Professor U.A. Akhatov, delivered a congratulatory speech. He emphasized the university’s and faculty’s important role in the development of legal science in the country and wished the faculty members continued success in their academic and professional activities.

The event was attended by the full academic staff of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, demonstrating strong unity and academic solidarity. The Head of the Department, G.A. Kuanaliyeva, expressed her warm wishes and highlighted the department’s achievements and contributions to legal education.

During the event, veteran professors D.L. Baideldinov and A.A. Issayev also addressed the audience, sharing their memories of the university’s history and offering sincere congratulations and guidance to the younger generation.

The celebration concluded with a campus tour of the Farabi Hub innovation center. Farabi Hub is a modern platform that integrates education, science, and entrepreneurship. It supports the development of startup projects, promotes the commercialization of scientific ideas, and provides opportunities for students and faculty to enhance their creative and innovative potential. During the tour, participants explored the university’s infrastructure and state-of-the-art educational and research facilities.
