The KazNU foundation Day was marked by educational events
Solemn events dedicated to the celebration of the Birthday of the country's leading university with the participation of the faculty and students of the university were held at the faculties of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Congratulations from Chairman of the Board, Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev were read out. Focusing on the main achievements of the university in recent years, the head of the university noted that al-Farabi Kazakh National University is developing as the flagship of the scientific, educational and innovative ecosystem, actively participates in the implementation of national priorities in the field of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
The created scientific and educational base allows the university to become the main center of knowledge and technological solutions. "Earlier this year, a commemorative capsule laying ceremony was held on the KazNU campus in connection with the start of construction of five nine-storey dormitories, each of which is designed for 1,000 places. In addition, it is planned to build educational buildings, a sports and recreation center, housing for employees, an innovation center, a research center and a technopark. We are on the threshold of a new era of development and modernization of KazNU",- said the rector of the University.
The event also featured videos about completed repairs in buildings, dormitories, and rooftop solar panels. The deans, professors and scientists of the faculties also delivered welcoming speeches, congratulating those present on the significant event. The alma mater has played a key role in everyone's life, opening the way to knowledge, professional realization and a scientific path. Expressing gratitude to the university, the speakers wished KazNU new achievements and heights in the field of education and science.
At the end of the event, a campus tour of the university's research centers and laboratories was organized for participants and distinguished guests.
