Development Directions of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science: A Faculty Meeting Dedicated to the 92nd Anniversary of KazNU

On January 15, 2026, an event dedicated to the 92nd anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science with the participation of the academic staff.

During the event, the Dean of the Faculty, B. B. Meirbayev, presented and discussed a number of current updates and key issues related to the prospective development directions of the Faculty. In addition, veteran members of the academic staff delivered congratulatory speeches, placing special emphasis on the University’s historical path and its long-standing academic traditions.

As part of the meeting, an introduction ceremony was held for the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science for social and educational affairs, as well as for the Acting Head of the Department of Philosophy.

Furthermore, an expert review of the teaching and learning materials (TLMs) of the academic staff for the spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year was conducted, during which issues related to the quality of instructional and methodological support were discussed. The agenda also included matters concerning the operation of the Faculty’s website and other current issues, all of which were thoroughly considered.

This event served as an important platform aimed at strengthening the Faculty’s internal academic unity and improving its instructional, methodological, and organizational activities.
