The National Kurultai as an Important Platform for Strengthening Civic Responsibility and Patriotism
The Kurultai, held in Kyzylorda on January 20, 2026, became an important platform for open and meaningful dialogue between the state and society. It focused on issues of social development, education, culture, the economy, and strengthening civil harmony. The event was particularly significant due to the discussion of strategic initiatives aimed at sustainable regional development, supporting human capital, and preserving national values. At the 5th session of the National Kurultai, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that patriotism must be encouraged in every possible way. The President noted that patriotism is love for one's homeland, but such an attitude toward one's homeland means little without civic responsibility and a desire to be of service to one's country.
Experts and public figures' presentations demonstrated a strong interest in real change and shared responsibility for the country's future.
The Kurultai in Kyzylorda confirmed that only through dialogue, unity, and everyone's participation is it possible to move forward and strengthen public trust.
