January 26, the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan, together with the Official Representation of the Republic of India in Almaty and the Indian diaspora in Almaty, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India.

At a traditional gathering organized especially for this occasion, the Head of the Representation, Mr. Swapnil Kotavade, presented a Certificate of Gratitude to Symbat Ismagulova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia.

The letter of gratitude states: “We thank you for your professional service and assistance. We highly appreciate your compassion and spirit of cooperation, which contribute to the strengthening of friendly relations between the peoples of India and Kazakhstan. The Embassy of India expresses its sincere gratitude to the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University for training such highly qualified specialists and hopes that you will continue to be a valuable partner in the future.”

The most important point to highlight here is that such cooperation, within the framework of partnerships with Eastern countries whose languages are taught at our faculty, is crucial for improving language skills through translation in various fields such as business, law enforcement, and tourism. This provides very valuable experience for both teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
