INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP IN EDUCATION AND SCIENCE
On January 26, 2026, representatives of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Hacı Bayram Veli University (Ankara) held an online meeting within the framework of the Orhun, ERASMUS, and Mobility programs. The meeting aimed to introduce graduate students, doctoral candidates, and faculty members to the rules of internships and experience exchange.
The event was organized in line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on strengthening international cooperation, ensuring equal access to education, and enhancing partnerships in the educational field.
Participants included: Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of KazNU, Zhaniya Ömirhanqyzy Abdiman; Coordinator for International Relations of Hacı Bayram Veli University, Professor of the Department of Modern Turkic Languages and Literature G.K. Erdjilasun; Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies for Scientific-Innovative Work and International Relations N.S. Kayranbayev; and Head of the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries, Associate Professor A. Khalel.
Additionally, KazNU representative Altynay Tastanbekqyzy Kyrkymbekova, Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific-Innovative Work and International Relations, explained to graduate students and doctoral candidates the key rules for experience exchange, scientific collaboration, and sustainable development of educational programs.
This online meeting marked an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two universities in education and scientific research, expanding practical programs, and ensuring equal access to knowledge through international exchange. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, participate in new research projects, and enhance their knowledge through international programs.
As a result, this collaboration demonstrates a new level of partnership between the two universities in implementing sustainable development goals and contributes to the advancement of international education and scientific practice.
