Exhibition and Campus Tour Organized as Part of the Academic and Methodological Association Meeting

On January 23, as part of the meeting of the Academic and Methodological Association, an exhibition and a campus tour were organized for akims of rural districts, as well as for representatives of other higher education institutions implementing the educational program “Public and Local Administration.”

Representing the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at the exhibition were Professor Mukhambetkali Burkitbayev, Research Associate Professor Raikhan Kulyumbetovna Rakhmetullayeva, Associate Professor Oral Tankievich Zhilkibayev, Professor Sergey Nikolaevich Kalugin, and Senior Lecturer Zhanibek Serikuly Asylkhanov. They presented the faculty’s key research areas and applied developments.

In addition, the Republican State Enterprise “State Institute of Agricultural Aerial Geodetic Surveys” (GISKHAGI), subordinate to the Committee for Land Resources Management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, showcased projects implemented jointly with the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management.

From the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Gulnar Dauletbayevna Ultanbekova presented the products of Industrial Microbiology LLP, established on the basis of the Research Institute of Microbiology and Virology.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a substantive exchange of views took place with Sholpan Tanatkyzy Karinova, Secretary of the Amanat Party, during which current issues were discussed.

A campus tour was organized for the guests, introducing them to the university’s research capacity and practice-oriented projects.

Following the campus tour, a member of the Academic and Methodological Association and representative of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Kanatbek Rakhmetbayuly Kasenov, noted:
“This is what a true research university should be like! Having a university with such strong potential right in the city center is truly impressive.”

Overall, the events organized by the university were conducted at a high level and left all participants with an exceptionally positive impression.
