A DAY OF RESPECT FOR SCIENCE AND THE TEACHER

On January 27, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference titled «Accounting, analysis and audit: new technologies, challenges and development prospects»
was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

This large-scale academic event was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Professor Sariya Baimukhanovna, a leading and highly respected member of the Department of Finance and Accounting and one of the founders of the Accounting and Audit educational program at the Higher School.

Within the framework of the conference, key issues related to digital transformation, sustainable development, global challenges, and modern scientific trends in the fields of accounting, analysis, and audit were comprehensively discussed. Scholars, practitioners, and young researchers from Kazakhstan and other countries gathered on a single platform for meaningful and productive exchange of ideas.
