My Homeland – Independent Kazakhstan
On January 22, 2025, an open curatorial class titled “My Homeland – Independent Kazakhstan” was held for first-year students of the 6B04103 – Economics educational program at the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The purpose of the class was to explain the significance of Kazakhstan’s independence and to foster patriotism and civic responsibility among students.
The event was attended by I.U. Kuliev, Deputy Dean for Social and Educational Affairs of the Higher School of Economics and Business; G.K. Ilyashova, Senior Lecturer, PhD, Department of Economics; and E.M. Zholamanov, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Assistant Professor.
During the class, key historical stages and facts related to Kazakhstan’s path to independence were discussed, and students actively shared their views and reflections.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that independence is a sacred value for every citizen of Kazakhstan, and its preservation and strengthening are a shared responsibility. The open class was informative and educational in nature.
