Law and Order: Introduction to the Internal Regulations of the University and Dormitory (open lesson)
On February 9, 2026, at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Care of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Sabina Kulzhebaeva, lecturer of the Department of Fundamental Medicine, conducted an event entitled “Law and Order: Introduction to the Internal Regulations of the University and Dormitory (open lesson)” for first-year students majoring in General Medicine and Pharmacy. During the event, students were introduced to the university’s internal regulations, principles of academic integrity, students’ rights and responsibilities, as well as dormitory residence rules and safety requirements. The meeting also addressed issues of academic responsibility, maintaining public order, fostering a culture of mutual respect, and supporting students’ social adaptation to university life. In addition, the importance of improving legal awareness among students was emphasized, and information was provided on how to seek assistance from university support services when necessary. This event contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 - Quality Education, and Goal 16 — Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, as it promotes legal awareness and supports the development of a safe and responsible academic environment.
