Republican Scientific-Practical Conference Dedicated to the 140th Anniversary of Mirzhakyp Dulatuly

At the Scientific Library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a Republican Scientific-Practical Conference “M. Dulatuly – Educator, Public Figure, Founder of the National Education System” was held, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the prominent Kazakh educator, public figure, poet, writer, and eloquent orator Mirzhakyp Dulatuly.

The conference was organized by: the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the “AMANAT” Party, the youth movement “Zhastar Rukhy,” the Association of Museums of Almaty Region, the Institute of Linguistics named after Akhmet Baitursynov, Al-Farabi KazNU, the International Kazakh Language Society, and the Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Children’s Surgery. The conference was opened with a welcoming address by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A.Sh. Alnazarova.

The purpose of the event was to conduct an in-depth study of the life and creative heritage of the national mentor Mirzhakyp Dulatuly, as well as to highlight the relevance of his educational and social activities in the present day.

During the conference, participants presented reports on Mirzhakyp Dulatuly’s role in awakening national consciousness, developing education, and shaping the Kazakh press, while also sharing their reflections and comments.
