Within the framework of the “Law and Order” principle “Fraud Prevention: Informational Meeting with Police Representatives”

Within the framework of the “Law and Order” principle, an informational event titled “Fraud Prevention: An Informational Meeting with Police Representatives” was held for students of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The event was attended by representatives of the Almaty City Police Department and the Bostandyk District Police Department, including officers from the Cybercrime Prevention Unit.

During the meeting, students were provided with information on fraud prevention, including the most common types of internet and cyber fraud, as well as safety requirements within the framework of the “Zhayau Zhurginshi” core preventive initiative.

In addition, students received consultations from police officers on issues of concern and were given clear and comprehensive explanations regarding the procedure to follow in cases of fraud, protection of personal data, online safety, and legal responsibility.

At the end of the event, students also approached police officers with personal questions, where representatives of law enforcement agencies provided prompt feedback, detailed explanations, and practical recommendations.

The meeting aimed to enhance students’ legal awareness, promote a culture of vigilance, and strengthen preventive measures against fraud.
