The Monastery of Mercy - Shapagat Today, on 12/24/2025, on New Year's Eve, the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners at the Faculty of Pre-University Education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a charity event for the 3rd department of the Shapagat Social Service Center of Almaty State University. During the campaign, the staff of the department presented New Year's gifts to 35 children of the center and exchanged views with the staff of the institution. Umit Duissenbaevna, Director of the Center, who has been working in this field for 40 years, introduced the work of the institution and the types of services provided to children. In turn, the dean of the faculty Bektanov Almas Auelbekovich and the head of the department Bakhyt Manatovna congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year, expressed their sincere gratitude to the staff of the center for their care and compassion for children with disabilities and wished them success in their work.
