Discussion of the new Constitution draft
Today, academic hearings dedicated to the discussion of the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held at the Faculty of International Relations. The event served as an important platform for professional exchange of views on key areas of constitutional reform and pressing issues of state and legal development.
The main speakers were PhD in Law, Associate Professor A.Zh. Tusupova, Doctor of Law, Professor K.N. Shakirov, and PhD in Law, Associate Professor M.K. Samaldykov. In their presentations, they addressed key issues related to the separation and interaction of branches of power within the new Constitution draft, as well as matters of justice, citizenship, international treaties, the exercise of the right to peaceful assembly, and other significant aspects of constitutional transformation.
The discussion took place in the format of a lively and substantive dialogue. Participants actively engaged in the debate, posed clarifying and critical questions, and expressed well-reasoned positions and practice-oriented proposals. As a result of the hearings, specific recommendations were formulated, reflecting a balanced and professional perspective of the academic community on further improving the constitutional and legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
