An Online Methodological Seminar Held for the Teaching Staff of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development
On February 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM, an online methodological seminar was held at the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development. The seminar was conducted by Shaken Aiman Shakenkyzy, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences for Academic, Methodological and Educational Affairs, and Ö.Zh. Sagymbay, Chair of the Academic Committee on Teaching and Education Quality.
All members of the teaching staff of the Chair took part in the event.
During the seminar, the forms and platforms for final assessment in the spring semester were comprehensively discussed, along with the requirements for the final assessment program and the procedures for its documentation. Particular attention was paid to ensuring the principles of academic integrity in organizing final assessment, as well as to the transparency of assessment criteria and the substantive quality of assessment materials.
Following the meeting, methodological recommendations were provided to the teaching staff and relevant assignments were given.
