Methods of saving and investing for short-term and long-term financial goals were discussed. Students learned about different types of credit and loans, interest rates, repayment schedules, and the importance of responsible borrowing.
The lecture also addressed financial safety. Students were taught how to protect themselves from fraud, conduct banking and online operations safely, and safeguard their personal data. Through practical examples, they analyzed the consequences of financial decisions and developed financial thinking skills.
The event was conducted in the framework of SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth, aiming to enhance students’ economic activity, financial responsibility, and decision-making skills in the labor market. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of ethics and honesty in financial actions, which is crucial for future professionals.
