Intercultural and Pragmatic Aspects of Teaching the Turkish Language

On February 12, 2026, a scientific and methodological seminar was held at the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries. The seminar was conducted by E. Dulaeva, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Acting Professor, on the topic “Intercultural Communication and Pragmatics of the Turkish Language.”

Doctoral and master’s students participated in the seminar, during which issues of intercultural communication, as well as pragmatic and practical aspects of using the Turkish language, were discussed. The event thoroughly examined communication features in different cultural environments, linguistic norms, and the role of the Turkish language in professional communication.

The scientific and methodological seminar contributed to deepening the participants’ theoretical knowledge and facilitated the exchange of experience in research areas. The event was organized at a high level and received positive feedback from the participants.
