A Book – Humanity’s Great Achievement and Great Teacher
On February 11, 2026, in celebration of International BookGiving Day, a curatorial hour titled “A Book – Humanity’sGreat Achievement and Great Teacher” was held among third-year students majoring in Economics. The ability to appreciatebooks is the responsibility of every individual. The best gift is a book. This holiday is considered a special occasion thatencourages young people to read. On this occasion, studentsorganized the challenge “Give a Book from the Heart!”, exchanging books with one another and sharing warmth andkind wishes. They also discussed interesting books they hadread and recommended them for further reading.
This event is closely connected with the SustainableDevelopment Goals: Goal 4 – Quality Education (promoting a culture of lifelong learning); Goal 10 – Reduced Inequalities(increasing access to education); Goal 16 – Peace, Justice andStrong Institutions (strengthening moral and spiritual values).
Every book read develops conscious thinking and instillskindness in the heart. A new book opens the door to a new worldand represents spiritual wealth. An educated generation is thefoundation of sustainable national development.
