Patriotic education of youth in the context of the UN SDG-4 "Quality Education"

On February 13, 2026, curator-advisor G.B. Seidakhmetova, together with first-year students of the ЕР "6B05105-Genetics", held an educational event titled "Patriotic Education-The Future of the Nation" at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. The event aimed to understand the role of patriotic education as a factor in shaping civic identity, developing national self-awareness, and embracing youth's responsibility for the future of the state. Patriotic education is defined as a spiritual and moral value formed through respect for the historical heritage, language, and culture of a people. A patriot is a citizen who understands their responsibility and realizes it through work for the good of the country. During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of national values ​​and personal contribution to the development of society. It was noted that youth is a key resource for the future of the state. The outcome was increased student motivation for professional self-fulfillment and civic engagement.
