KazNU scientists awarded state scientific scholarships

Four leading scientists of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University have been awarded state scientific scholarships.

The awards were awarded in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 29, 2025 №596.

The winners of the prestigious scholarship are: Aliya Aktymbaeva, Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, Professor Grigory Mun, Galiya Irmukhambetova, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Nurasyl Kerimbayev.

The State Scientific Scholarship is a high award given to scientists who have made a significant contribution to the development of Russian science, successfully carry out fundamental and applied research, and have achieved significant results in the training of scientific personnel.

In addition, state scientific scholarships designed to support talented young researchers were awarded to young KazNU scientists Laura Agibayeva and Serik Khokhlov.

The award ceremony was held as part of the celebration of the winners of prizes and state scholarships in the field of science.
