Al-Farabi KazNU Student Arukhan Turgunbayeva Wins Silver Medal at the Kazakhstan National Championship in Sport and Combat Sambo

In the city of Karaganda, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Sport Sambo and Combat Sambo among adults and women was held from February 8 to 12 at the “Zhastar” Sports Palace. The event was organized by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture Affairs, and the Sports Department of the Karaganda Region. In the 65 kg weight category, Turgunbayeva Arukhan Irgizboevna, a 3rd-year student of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, won 2nd place.
