Law and Order: The student law clinic conducted legal awareness for schoolchildren

    On February 19, 2026, a meeting was held at аl-Farabi Kazakh National University with students of grades 9–11 from school-lyceum № 207 and school-gymnasium № 138 in Almaty.

    The main purpose of the event was to promote the principles of law and order among young people, foster legal culture, and enhance the civic responsibility of the younger generation. During the meeting, detailed explanations were provided on the rule of law in society, the prevention of offenses, and the rights and obligations of every citizen.

    The meeting was attended by gymnasium teachers as well as representatives of the student law clinic at the faculty of law of the university, including: head of the department of customs, financial, and environmental law, doctor of legal sciences, professor Kuanaliyeva Guldana Amangeldikyzy; professor of the department, candidate of legal sciences Aigarinova Gulnar Toleukhadirkyzy; director of the student law clinic, doctor of legal sciences, professor Baideldinov Daulet Laikovich, senior lecturers Eleusizova Nurgul Toleubekkyzy and Bakirov Darkhan Abdymanapuly, as well as other representatives of the law clinic who actively engaged with the students.

  The specialists emphasized that adherence to laws is the foundation of a stable and safe society and addressed legal situations frequently encountered by adolescents.

  Additionally, students received legal advice and were informed about administrative and criminal responsibility, as well as the rights and obligations of minors. Concrete examples illustrated the importance of complying with legal requirements.

   At the conclusion of the event, young people were encouraged to respect the law, maintain public order, and participate responsibly in the development of the country. Such meetings contribute to shaping the legal awareness of youth and foster their growth as law-abiding and disciplined citizens.
