Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Visited the Akhmet Baitursynuly Museum

Today, first-year students of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia (Arabic Language Division) of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, together with their advisor Farida Tokanovna, visited the Akhmet Baitursynuly Museum for an educational excursion.
The purpose of the event was to develop students’ historical awareness, promote national values, and broaden their academic outlook. The excursion was organized within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4 “Quality Education” and Goal 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” (safeguarding cultural heritage).
During the excursion, students became thoroughly acquainted with the life and scholarly legacy of the great national educator. They gained in-depth knowledge about Akhmet Baitursynuly’s contribution to the reform of the Kazakh alphabet, the development of the national education system, and the formation of Kazakh linguistics.
The museum visit became an educational and spiritually meaningful event for the students.
