“Clean Kazakhstan: A Foreign Student’s Perspective on Cleanliness and Order in Almaty”

In accordance with the educational work plan, an extracurricular educational event entitled “Clean Kazakhstan: A Foreign Student’s Perspective on Cleanliness and Order in Almaty” was conducted with third-year students of the educational program 6B01703 “Russian Language and Literature.” The event was organized in the format of a thematic excursion and was conducted by Lecturer Kairatkyzy Dinara.

The purpose of the event was to foster environmental awareness, strengthen civic responsibility, promote a conscious attitude toward the environment, and develop the professional outlook of future teachers. During the event, students observed and analyzed the condition of cleanliness and landscaping within the university area and the urban environment of Almaty, considering issues related to public order and environmental responsibility.

Throughout the excursion and subsequent discussion, students expressed their views on the condition of the urban environment, emphasized that maintaining cleanliness in public spaces is a shared responsibility, and highlighted the role of young people in implementing the “Clean Kazakhstan” initiative. Particular attention was given to the importance of developing environmental awareness as an integral part of modern civic culture.

As future teachers of Russian language and literature, the students also examined the issue of cleanliness and order from the perspective of the educational process, noting the significance of language, personal example, and pedagogical influence in shaping value orientations among learners.

The conducted educational event contributed to the development of analytical and critical thinking skills, communication abilities, civic engagement, and professional responsibility. The objectives of the event were fully achieved.
