AL-FARABI KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY: A NEW STEP TOWARD STRATEGIC INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP

On March 2, 2026, the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will host an important meeting aimed at strengthening international academic cooperation. As part of the working visit, members of the university community will meet with Dr. Bezhan Rustamov, Vice-Rector of Rauf Denktaş University, and Dr. Alimshan Faizulayev, Associate Professor and Deputy Dean of KIMEP University. The invited experts possess extensive experience in guiding universities through international evaluation procedures, including participation in the QS World University Rankings, and have expressed strong interest in developing academic and research collaboration with the university.

The meeting will bring together the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, faculty members, doctoral candidates, and master’s students. Key topics of discussion will include prospects for international cooperation, the exchange of best practices in higher education quality assurance, and potential areas for launching joint academic and research initiatives.
