Department of Internal Medicine held a lecture-seminar the topic “We Are Against Smoking Tobacco Products”.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Internal Medicine, Ibraeva Asem Serikkanovna, held a lecture-seminar with the curatorial group JM 23-04 on the topic “We Are Against Smoking Tobacco Products”.

The purpose of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and prevent harmful habits. The seminar was organized within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 — ensuring health and well-being.

During the meeting, scientifically based information was presented on the harmful effects of tobacco products on the human body, the development of nicotine addiction, as well as the risks of electronic cigarettes and vapes. Participants discussed the negative impact of smoking not only on individual health but also on society and the environment.

At the end of the event, students emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and called for giving up tobacco products.
